What Exactly is DPD?
DPD Direct Participatory Democracy in the context of this website and this movement is a method of offering every eligible citizen a chance to vote on the legislation that their US Congressional Representative votes on and when a person is elected that runs on the DPD platform gets elected, that person will allow all his constituents a chance to vote and his vote in the House will correspond directly to the will of the majority of the people in the Representative's district. Such a platform does not require any changes to the constitution or other radical changes; all is that it requires is somebody willing to give this power of participation to the people to be elected.
The easiest way to begin this precess is through a web site that allows computer enthusiasts a chance to participate. Eventually accommodations will be put in place to allow persons who for what ever reason do not use computers to also vote. Although after the dimpled chad episode of the 2000 presidential election that was decoded by the supreme court, punch cards were made to seem untrustworthy, there are methods available where information about the legislation can be sent by US mail and cards can be filled out by the voter, sent back and read by a machine and the votes entered and pooled together with the computer web site internet votes.
Believe it or not, this is not rocket science. The only reason elected "officials" will not offer this to the people is because their egos have it that they know better about what is good for the people then the people and their friends and themselves profit greatly from the illegal immoral government mafia that they run in our names.
So please work with us and tell your friends that this peoples movement toward peoples government is finally happening.
